The Venue by Culinary Creations to Host Open House and Ribbon Cutting

Northeast Pennsylvania’s newest event destination, The Venue by Culinary Creations, will open its doors to the community with a ribbon-cutting and open house on Thursday, March 27th.

Officials from the Wyoming Valley, Scranton, and Pittston Chambers of Commerce will attend the ribbon-cutting along with dignitaries from the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport and local elected officials. Representatives from Metz Culinary Management, The Venue’s owner and operator, will also be on hand.

The ribbon-cutting is scheduled for 5:00pm with the open house to follow from 5:30 to 7:30. Both events are open to the public. No reservations are needed to attend the ribbon-cutting; guests for the open house are asked to RSVP at www.culinarycreationsbymetz.com.

The Venue was designed for unique corporate events, elegant private gatherings, and memorable weddings. It provides dinner seating for up to 175 guests, private dining for up to 60, and a dance floor for up to 150. Other amenities include a bar and lounge area, and indoor and outdoor gathering spaces, including a patio overlooking the scenic Wyoming Valley.

The Venue is managed by Kathi Bankes, Director of Catering and Events for Culinary Creations by Metz, with support from Jose Cazeras, District Manager, Restaurant Division, and Rick Sell, Vice President of Restaurant Operations for Metz Culinary Management, Inc.

The Venue by Culinary Creations is located at 28 Concorde Court Drive in Dupont, just a half mile from the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport and convenient to Interstate 81.
